Because shipping costs can vary a great deal — depending on many unpredictable factors —  the best way to determine the shipping costs is to send us your complete shipping address and we will submit it to the best shipper for a firm quotation. It is usually cheaper to ship to a commercial address rather than a private residence.

Shipping costs are added to the purchase price of the furniture and billed prior to shipping. In some cases we can ship freight collect. When possible, we ship via US Postal Service, UPS, or FedEx; but most furniture is too large for these carriers thus we use trucking companies.

Our preferred shipping method within the continental U.S. is via “blanket wrap” shippers. These long-range trucking companies specialize in uncrated, fine furniture.

Occasionally it is necessary to crate the pieces prior to shipping and then ship via a common carrier trucker.

Each situation is unique and we will discuss with you all of your shipping options. You are always welcome to arrange your own shipping or pickup at the factory.
